Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was a mix of relaxing and photo work, but overall a wonderful weekend (even though I’m feeling very tired at work right now). More on what I’ve been up to below!

What’s been going on…
Yesterday I had a super fun photoshoot down in Southern RI for an amazing brand called Make Me Feel Better! The weather gods blessed us with a nice warm day with partly cloudy conditions. This was one of the first shoots I acted as both full Creative Director and Photographer, which was an exciting experience. I shot the campaign all on Portra 400 medium format film with my Mamiya RB 6x7. Sent the photos to be developed this morning, so I’m super excited to see how they turn out! Earlier this week, I took myself on an Artist Date (courtesy of the rules of The Artist’s Way) to go see the documentary Secret Mall Apartment. It was about a group of artists in Rhode Island who created a secret apartment inside an unused, forgotten space inside the Providence Place Mall. It was an interesting story about the use of space, access, privilege (as these were all white artists doing this), and art for the public. I urge you all to go see it! It’s showing in select theatres, but the Providence Mall is ideal since it’s where it all started! And they have a replica of the apartment outside the theatre where you can play GTA.
